Inspired by a prolonged period of constant traveling, A Gypsy's Home offers a charming look at life on the road. Filled with traditional and original songs of the roving life, this album conjures images of friendships new and old, but never forgotten; stories told on long summer nights; and rascals, rogues, rovers.

Joined by Dan Ochipinti on percussion and Andrew Hare on bass (from Heather's band, Uffington Horse), this album is sure to be a favorite for fans of faerie tale and folklore alike!

Midsummer contains all-new performances of the original 10 songs, with the addition of two brand new songs, and two that were hard to find, or only on cassette. With the addition of Rob Wullenjohn on bass, Brett Barnett on keyboards, and the Wicked Tinkers— a bagpipe and drums trio (who make the March of Cambreadth sound like you’ve never heard it before!), this visit to the Heatherlands sets the stage for songs where Puck plays his pranks and Beauty braves the Beast.

Heather Alexander's debut solo cd. Her distinctive vocals and pyrotechnic fiddling highlight the twelve cuts on this album. From the rowdy drinking song Pour Your Brother, or the rollicking tale of John Barleycorn, to Heather's lonely version of the W. B. Yeats poem Stolen Child and her very personal Storyteller, a memorium to the late Muppet Master Jim Henson, the listener is drawn into a world of Faerie Queens and fiddlers, of simple times and simple pleasures.

Produced by Heather Alexander and Mike Demmers and recorded at Desitrek Studios, Wanderlust features Heather on guitar, vocals, fiddle, mandolin and percussion, Rob Wullenjohn on bass, Jenny Lindner on harp, and Lief Sørbye on flute and harmonica.
